Job description

Quality Assurance Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Business Solutions and Innovations, the Quality Assurance Analyst ensures the quality of products and services and implements processes and standards to achieve this objective. The analyst makes every effort to detect defects and anomalies, from creation to client delivery, and ensures they can be reproduced, understood, and properly documented.

Main responsibilities

Required qualifications

Performs application testing and validation in accordance with established standards;
Ensures the quality of developments in collaboration with Programmer-Analysts;
Prepares test plans and test cases;
Implements and supports planning activities;
Facilitates communication;
Promotes best development practices;
Prepares documentation related to testing, problem resolution, and compliance;
Ensures that the planning tool is functional and up to date;
Participates in various quality assurance initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Be rigorous, organized, and meticulous in all aspect of work;
Be autonomous;
Have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate excellent adaptability;
Possess a logical mindset and strong analytical skills;
Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
Have strong synthesis skills;
Be able to work effectively in a team and clearly understand the role of different stakeholders within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in a field relevant to the position;
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in quality assurance within a technological environment;
Good understanding of functional testing;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Knowledge of Agile methodology;
Understanding of business processes and SME contexts, an asset;
Experience with an ERP software, an asset.
